Group to visit polling locations in hopes to restore West Dayton hospital

DAYTON, Ohio ( WDTN ) — A group is continuing its efforts to have a hospital return to west Dayton.

The Clergy Community Coalition announced Wednesday that the group is going to once again attempt to give voters a say on building a hospital in west Dayton. The area has not had a hospital since Premier Health closed Good Samaritan Hospital in 2018.

A previous petition failed to gather enough valid signatures to place an initiative on the Nov. 5 ballot. The coalition will be at polling locations to gather signatures for the next election…
