Greene County officers honored for protecting domestic violence victims

GREENE COUNTY, Ohio (WKEF) — Three law enforcement officials were honored for their work with domestic violence victims as Domestic Violence Awareness Month wraps up.

Deputy Nathaniel Slone with the Greene County Sheriff’s Office and Officer Katie Gee with the Beavercreek Police Department both saved mothers from their abusers in front of their children.

Both of these officers in their individual stories went to the hospital with the victims to continue to care for them after the violent event was over…
