(Alleman) — Southwest Valley’s best season in program history ran into a buzzsaw Wednesday night, bringing their 2024 campaign to an end.
The 1A No. 13 Timberwolves (30-4) were denied of their first-ever trip to the State Volleyball Tournament at the expense of Janesville (24-17), who swept Southwest Valley 25-19, 25-20, 25-17 in a Class 1A Region 6 Final on the KMA Video Stream. The sweep secured Janesville’s 15th state tournament trip but first since 2021.
