RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — An iguana found on the streets of Richmond is now up for adoption after being taken in by Richmond Animal Care and Control.
The iguana, named “Iggy” by shelter staff, is around three feet long and believed to be around 3 or 4 years old. According to the shelter, she has an old fracture in her spine and an injured foot which requires antibiotics injections every three days for a month and a foot soak with topical cream.
