FLINT, Mich. – Flint residents who rent their homes and whose income is at or below 300% of the federal poverty level may qualify for up to $500 towards water and sewer arrearages.
Mayor Sheldon Neeley proposed and the Flint City Hall approved $100,000 for the program, allowing about 200 residents to participate on a first-come, first-served basis.
