The suspected robber, later identified as Khalil William Butler, 30, of Sellersville, was arrested in the area of Avenue A and West Street in Doylestown Borough, the Central Bucks Regional Police Department said.
Butler entered the bank and told an employee that he wanted to make a cash withdrawal, according to police. He then instructed the employee to place his hands on the desk as Butler lifted his shirt to display a firearm.
The employee and the bank’s manager were then told to get $32,000 in cash out of the safe, which Butler placed into a brown paper bag, police said. Butler fled on a bicycle wearing a “distinctive jacket.”…
