A fashionable Ciara joined Shonda Rhimes and Rita Wilson to encourage Georgia residents to get out and vote before election day.
On Tuesday, celebrities and supporters gathered in College Park, Georgia, for an extra special rally headlined by Michelle Obama. Gateway Center Arena hosted the star-studded event. Coordinated by the nonpartisan organization When We All Vote, the VIP portion of the rally featured Rita Wilson, Kate Capshaw, Shonda Rimes, and Ciara. Although all of the celebs emphasized the importance of voting, the “Goodies” singer stole the show in a wild and a bit wacky outfit.
Surrounded by supporters, many of them local attendees from HBCUs like Morehouse College and Spelman College, Rita Wilson greeted fans as she supported the cause. The That Thing You Do! actor and Kate Capshaw hugged before kicking off the event. In 2019, the Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom star founded The Hearthland Foundation with her husband of 32 years, Steve Spielberg. Capshaw’s non-profit works with charitable organizations to create a more just and equitable America via grants and projects.
Ciara took the stage to encourage voters to get out to the polls and bring friends and family, too. The 39-year-old, known for her sexy style, covered up in an unusual suitcoat. Designed by NAMILIA, the camouflage coat featured a floor-length structured body and widely oversized shoulder pads.
