It’s hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact DeLand-Weldon can now relate to. They fell just short of the Argenta-Oreana Bombers by a score of 2-1 on Monday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bombers apparently hadn’t forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2019.
In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, DeLand-Weldon sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-12, 23-25, 25-14.
