Students to return to Anna Maria Elementary for first time since Hurricane Helene

HOLMES BEACH, Fla. (WFLA) — Students will be returning to Anna Maria Elementary next week after spending nearly a month away due to the extensive damage left by Hurricane Helene.

A representative for the School District of Manatee County said students and staff will be able to safely return to the building on Monday, Nov. 4.

They have been attending school at Stewart Elementary in a “team teaching model” since Sept. 30.
