Local firemen will bring Thanksgiving feast to North Carolina Helene victims

PANAMA CITY, Fla. ( WMBB ) — A group of local firemen are making sure Hurricane Helene victims don’t miss out on Thanksgiving this year.

Panama City resident Ivan Ross is already in the holiday spirit. He and his friends are organizing a Thanksgiving donation drive for Helene victims in North Carolina.

“We came up with Mission 6:11, which references Matthew 6:11, which is ‘give us this day our daily bread.’ I just want to spread cheer and give a hug to people and feed them,” Ross said.

Mission 6:11’s goal is to bring a Thanksgiving feast to those affected by the storm, and Ross is asking the community for help by making monetary donations to purchase food and supplies for the meal…
