LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – Owners of Highlands bar Baxter’s 942 are appealing the metro’s decision not to renew their bar’s liquor license, according to Metro ABC Director Brad Silveria.
Silveria sent a letter to Baxter‘s 942 Wednesday, telling them their license would not be renewed due to “repeated acts of violence emanating from events occurring in the vicinity of the licensed premises at 942 Baxter Ave… where the Licensee hired ’DJ Lil Jerry & Friends.‘”
“We believe it’s in the best interest of the community not to renew the license,” Silveria said at a news conference Thursday…
