HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -Most trick or treats went off without a hitch. Some Ohio and Kentucky precincts did get a ground dampening shower. The trends the rest of the night will be for showers to become common after 10pm in the River Cities and after midnight along I-77 and I-79. Overnight light rain will wet the ground while depositing a mere one or two tenths of an inch. Since the rain is falling at the end of a parched October, we will need to be vigilant for slicker than normal roads overnight and in the morning.
Friday will dawn cloudy with the sun returning by afternoon. Highs will make the mid 60s with readings dropping into the 50s during high school games.
Saturday will see plenty of sun with highs near 70 then a partly cloudy Sunday will see the risk of showers return with highs in the 70s…
