Annapolis Police Launch Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive for Families in Need

The Annapolis Police Department has kicked off its annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, aiming to provide full holiday meals to 30 local families in need this season. Community members are encouraged to contribute non-perishable food items to help reach this goal. Donations will be accepted until November 18 at the Annapolis Police Department headquarters at 199 Taylor Avenue.

Items Needed for Thanksgiving Meals

The department seeks specific items to complete each Thanksgiving meal package, including five-pound bags of potatoes, two-pound bags of onions, jars of gravy, and cans of cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, and green beans. Boxes of stuffing are also appreciated to help round out the holiday meals.
