‘Capt. S Claus’ event features Santa, art therapy and more at Army National Guard Armory

SOUTH BEND — The True Top 1 Percent Foundation will hold a meet-and-greet event with “Capt. S Claus” from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2 at the South Bend Army National Guard Armory, 1901 Kemble Ave.

Held in partnership with the Indiana Army National Guard and Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs, the event welcomes veterans, active-duty service members and civilians to join Capt. S. Claus and his “Warrior Elves” for an afternoon of holiday spirit, community support and art therapy.

According to a press release, the nonprofit True Top 1 Percent Foundation’s mission is to support the mental health and well-being of veterans and active-duty members through art therapy and community connection.
