In a collaborative effort to promote environmental stewardship and hands-on learning, 23 Yamaha volunteers partnered with Keep Newnan Beautiful and students at White Oak Elementary School to install new garden beds on the school grounds.
The project, led by Keep Newnan Beautiful and requested by White Oak Elementary teacher and Garden Club sponsor Kellie Gutske, aims to create an interactive outdoor classroom where students can learn about sustainable gardening, ecosystem interactions and environmental responsibility.
Yamaha volunteers and enthusiastic students joined forces to prepare the garden beds, adding fresh compost generously donated by Newnan Utilities.
