Tennessee wanted another linebacker in their class of 2025 — they got one on Thursday night. The Volunteers flipped in-state prospect Brenden Anes from Wisconsin to add their third linebacker to the current class.

The 6-2, 220 pound prospect is the 584th ranked player in the country, per the 247Sports Composite. He’s the 20th ranked player in the state of Tennessee and the 61st ranked linebacker in the cycle. Anes is out of Franklin, Tennessee, playing at Fred J Page High School.
Tennessee gave Anes his first SEC offer about a year ago, but Wisconsin quickly followed. He committed to the Badgers in January, but the Volunteers kept working.
