Before Week 8’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders, our panel of Arrowhead Pride staffers combined to predict the Kansas City Chiefs would claim a 27-10 victory. That missed Kansas City’s 27-20 win by a total of 20 points. Three quarters of our panelists thought a blowout victory was coming. AP readers were less convinced that could happen. Just three in 10 predicted a Chiefs blowout, while more than half correctly called for an easy Kansas City win.
In Week 9, the Chiefs face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, Kansas City is favored by 8.5 points.
Let’s see what the staff — and our readers — think about the matchup.

It would intrigue me more if Chris Godwin and Mike Evans were healthy for this matchup — but with those guys out, it’s hard to see how the Buccaneers could consistently move the ball. Kansas City’s defensive weakness is its cornerback depth — but without their top wideouts, I don’t see how the Buccaneers could attack it. Meanwhile, the Tampa Bay defense isn’t the same unit it was three or four years ago, so I think the Chiefs will be able to get big chunks of yardage from Travis Kelce in the passing game. This game reminds me some of the Week 5 matchup against the New Orleans Saints…
