A tribute to The Pan Am House, located at 1950 Delaware Avenue, can now be seen in the form of a mural on the side of the circa 1850 structure. The historic house – originally a farmhouse, and later an Indian Stockade during the 1901 Pan Am Exposition (a Six Nations exhibit) – has certainly weathered many a storm over the years.
Alfred “Al” Coppola, former state senator and council member, and owner of the house, wanted to create a fitting tribute to the structure’s historic legacy, which is why he commissioned the mural by Tim Martin.
