Heritage is primed for a first-round home game when the playoffs begin in two weeks. E.C. Glass is struggling to make it into the postseason.

This year’s edition of the annual Jug Bowl is a tale of two teams headed in different directions. Heritage stands at 7-1, Glass at 4-4. The Pioneers have won four straight and seem to be peaking as the playoffs approach. Glass’ future is uncertain. The Hilltoppers have lost two straight, have not played with as much consistence as their cross-town rivals, and are desperate for a win this week.

But the different directions tag may not matter. It certainly does not matter to coaches at the helm of both teams…
