Nashville’s costume parade, a treat for everyone involved

NASHVILLE — From their excitement as the first group of children came into sight on Halloween morning, the Nash County employees in front of the administration building might have had just as much fun giving out candy as the kids receiving it.

Angie Dean, an executive assistant and deputy clerk to the board, said about 215 children from Nashville Elementary School, the daycare at Nashville Methodist Church and Taylor’s Chapel Daycare left their respective schools at 9 a.m. for the costume parade through the town of Nashville’s government and business district along West Washington Street.
