GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The drought monitor released on the last day of October, unsurprisingly, upgraded the Upstate, Northeast Georgia and most of Western North Carolina to abnormally dry drought status.
Abnormally dry conditions include all of our South Carolina and Georgia counties as well as the southern mountains. Most areas south of I-40 are seeing the low end drought status return after a month break.
