Battalion chief: 2 people injured after Saginaw house fire

SAGINAW, Mich. (WNEM) – Two people were taken to the hospital following a house fire in Saginaw, according to the Saginaw Fire Department Battalion Chief Brad Luczak.

The fire happened in the 1000 block of N. Bond Street at about 1:50 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1.

When crews arrived on scene, they saw fire coming from the first floor of a two-story house, and the fire was extending to the second floor, Luczak said.

Luczak said before firefighters arrived, two residents had self-evacuated through a second-story window. Both were taken to Covenant Hospital: one had minor injuries and one had serious injuries…
