It has been an unseasonably warm October for much of the lower 48. From the north-central to the northeastern U.S. records have been falling since earlier this week. We had another batch of record warmth for the Northeast on Thursday. Philadelphia tied a record high today of 82°. Binghamton, NY broke the new record high. They city saw a temp of 75°, beating out the old record of 70° set in 2003.
As a frontal boundary moves through we will see cloud coverage increase, rain, and temps dropping following the frontal boundary. The warm streak is finally coming to an end.
