CAMDEN — Over the past few years, Camden city officials have tried financial pressure to force a cleanup at a long-vacant gas station.
But with no action by the absentee owner, the city recently took matters into its own hands — and sent a cleanup crew to the blighted US Gas station along Admiral Wilson Boulevard. Then it billed the owner $25,000 for the project.
