Police: Car, Credit Cards Stolen from Dead Smyrna Man

The day after Cobb Police found the body of 71-year-old Robert Westbrook in his Smyrna home, they were called back to investigate four people suspiciously on the property.

Speaking with the suspects — Jarvis Ruff, 42, Michael Collins, 41, Kristina Coleman, 32, and Cherann Cargle, 45 — Cobb Police quickly discovered they had swiped Westbrook’s will, banking statements, blank checks and credit cards.

But they had also taken his computer, speaker, some jewelry and even personal photographs. The four were taken to the county jail, all with felony burglary charges. Ruff was also charged with violating probation and Coleman was slapped with an additional five charges for credit card theft and one charge of controlled substance possession…
