BRYAN COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) – A Bryan County Sheriff’s Deputy who was shot several times while responding to a domestic disturbance call in Hendrix was honored for his bravery and resilience that night.

“He is a true police officer,” Bryan County Undersheriff Joey Tucker said. “He puts his life before anybody else’s and, he’s going to go home, and he’s going to make sure that everybody else was safe. And that’s what he did that night.”
