Siena Brown, an Iowa City High School junior, is the Press-Citizen’s latest Student of the Week.
Brown captured 63.4% of the 516 votes.
Brown is a dedicated student leader. She is actively involved in the environmental club and has served as co-president for the past two years, where she helped spearhead a project to compost food waste in the high school cafeteria. Brown is also the vice president for The Golden Beaker, a non-profit student organization that helps raise money for low-income elementary schools to help purchase STEM supplies.
