A motorcyclist from South Kingstown died after a crash Thursday afternoon on the Jamestown Bridge, according to the Rhode Island State Police.
He was identified as Jonathan W. Hopkins, age 34.
Hopkins had been traveling east “a high rate of speed, weaving in and out of traffic” when the motorcycle he was operating hit the back of a Ford Transit van in the right travel lane, the police said in a press release…
