The Illinois swim and dive team completed their first road meet of the season at Southern Illinois on Friday.
Freshman Chloe Diner shattered the 100 breaststroke program record in her second-place finish (1:01.59). She also swam the program’s second-fastest 200 IM and NCAA B cut time of 1:59.18, and the fifth-fastest 200 breaststroke (2:14.30) en route to silver medals.
