With a recruiting cycle that has thus far been dominated by the likes of Duke, UConn, and even Notre Dame, Kansas just landed a commitment from the highest ranked guard in the national class, Darryn Peterson.
Peterson, who is ranked No. 3 overall in the class of 2025, chose Bill Self and the Jayhawks over a list of finalists that also included USC, Kansas State, and his home state school of Ohio State, which was perceived as the only other school in contention down the stretch.
