Swimmer dies following rough surf rescue near Boynton Beach Inlet

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) has identified the swimmer who died after a rough surf rescue near the Boynton Beach Inlet on Sunday morning.

PBSO has identified the man as Maximilian Sadowski, 34, of Lake Worth.

PBSO reported at around 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, the Manalapan Police Department received a call from someone who said a swimmer was in distress about a quarter of a mile north of a non-lifeguard-protected area at the Boynton Beach Inlet…
