True Religion to open 3 new stores in November

  • In November the company plans to open stores at the North Star Mall in San Antonio, Texas; Orland Square in Orland Park, Illinois; and the Kings Plaza in Brooklyn, New York.
  • True Religion opened a store at Katy Mills in Katy, Texas, in May.

Since the company exited its second bankruptcy in 2020, True Religion has been working to carefully build its physical store footprint. Last year, the company opened its first new store in more than four years at Atlanta’s Cumberland Mall. It also announced plans to open stores abroad in countries like India, Indonesia, South Korea, the Philippines, South Africa, Lebanon, Qatar and other markets.

“While we are very selective about where to open new stores, we’ve seen quite a bit of new demand on truereligion.com from shoppers in these markets,” Michael Buckley, True Religion’s CEO, said in a statement regarding the company’s latest store announcements. “We know our customers in Brooklyn, San Antonio, Katy, and Orland Park will enjoy the physical shopping experience we have created for them as much as they enjoy the online experience.”
