Traditionally, many Americans choose not to decorate for Christmas until after Thanksgiving because hey, the turkey deserves to have its own day, too.
However, more recent studies have shown that welcoming Santa before turkey day is not all that bad. In fact, a 2022 survey showed that 79% of participants agreed that the earlier they decorate for Christmas, the more holiday spirit they experience.
