Law enforcement, survivors and volunteers in purple shirts gathered Tuesday evening around the Reflecting Pond to listen to the inaugural Domestic Violence Community Vigil’s first speaker.
As Christina Montalvo, domestic violence advocate and Help Now representative, spoke about losing her sister Nicole to domestic violence, a bright rainbow appeared over the library while onlookers listened to her commitment to making an impact.
