HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – A new era begins for Huntsville City Council. Michelle Watkins took her oath of office after beating a two-term incumbent for the District 1 seat on the council.
Councilwoman Watkins said she is excited to start her term. She says she wants to work to continue growing the infrastructure in North Huntsville.
