MOORESVILLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Davidson College facilities employee was arrested over the weekend on peeping charges, school officials and law enforcement confirmed with Queen City News.
According to Mooresville Police, 49-year-old Jeremy Michael Whitworth, of Mooresville, was charged with one count of felony secretly peeping on Nov. 2. Davidson College President Doug Hicks said in a letter to the campus that Whitworth allegedly used a camera to secretly view one or more locations in Mooresville, and investigators believe additional locations could include the institution’s campus.

Whitworth was taken to Iredell County Jail and placed under a $10,000 secure bond with a Nov. 4 initial court date. He is out on bond, according to county jail records.
Hicks said the images were taken using a cellphone or similar portable camera in public areas and in bathrooms. He said “there is much to learn,” and the investigation by the Mooresville PD Criminal Investigations Division is ongoing…
