GROVETOWN, Ga (WFXG) – In a recent crackdown on online child predators, the Grovetown Police Department, in collaboration with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, arrested three individuals on Sunday, Nov. 3, as part of “Operation Mask Off.”
According to the Grovetown Police Department, the operation aimed to target child predators in and around the Central Savannah River Area (CSRA). Undercover agents and investigators say they communicated with over 1,200 people during the operation, three of whom ultimately attempted to meet with a minor but were instead greeted by law enforcement.
The three individuals arrested include:
- Jose Lemus, 41, of Virginia
- Clinton Wilson, 42, of Louisville, Georgia
- Do Nhut Minh, 25
All three face charges of sexual exploitation of children. Lemus, who was found to be in the country illegally, is also subject to an ICE detainer. Authorities seized multiple electronic devices and three vehicles as part of the investigation…
