Ghostbusters said they weren’t afraid of ghosts, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers let the Kansas City Chiefs know they weren’t afraid of them ahead of Monday Night’s game. It might have been foolish, but the Bucs boldly trolled the Chiefs during pregame warmups in a show of confidence that at least lets fans know they still think highly of themselves.
Reporters up in the press box noticed that after the Bucs had finished their pregame warmup, the team gathered at Kansas City’s midfield logo. It was something that didn’t go unnoticed by Chiefs fans in the stands who loudly booed Tampa Bay off the field.
Perhaps it comes back to bite them, but at the very least the Bucs showed they weren’t letting Kansas City get in their heads…
