South Carolina women’s basketball opens their season at home as it starts their journey to their third straight National Championship. Dawn Staley and her squad are looking a little different this season, losing star Kamilla Cardoso to the WNBA, but don’t be mistaken, this team is still the best in the country until proven otherwise.

Well, tonight, the Michigan women’s basketball team is trying to prove it otherwise as they try to hand the Gamecocks their first loss since the 2022-2023 season. In the first half against the Wolverines, Chloe Kitts came off the bench to score 12 points for the Gamecocks, while players such as Tehina Paopaou, who is supposed to be the best player on this squad, have only scored seven points in the first half.

Fans could see the anger and frustration on Staley’s face before the first half ended, and they feel that must have continued into the locker room, where she had quite the halftime conversation with her team…
