Tragedy struck Harlem this past Sunday as a 66-year-old pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run incident. According to ABC 7 New York, the man was walking southbound on Fifth Avenue when a vehicle, identified as a Toyota RAV4, hit him shortly after 9:00 p.m. He was swiftly transported to Harlem Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
This incident was the second fatality in a string of hit-and-runs in Manhattan over a two-day period. Police are actively searching for the driver of the RAV4. Witnesses or individuals with knowledge of the situation are encouraged to come forward and help to bring closure to this unfortunate event.
