BLACKSBURG, Va. (WDBJ) – Since Chat GPT came out in 2022, it’s changed the scope of artificial intelligence in our society and how people use it.

Dr. Junghwan Kim is an associate professor and researcher at Virginia Tech. He put Chat GPT to the test to see if it could help in the urban planning process by identifying which areas or streets need maintenance or are safe for pedestrians.

The results were successful, and he says the A-I tool could help with the amount of manual labor that goes into traditional and manual city planning…
