Nancy K. Lilleberg, 72, Fargo, ND, died on Monday, November 4, 2024 at Edgewood Vista in Fargo after a long battle with cancer.
Nancy Wright was born on July 1, 1952 in Fargo, ND to Nelson and Kathryn (Wolter) Wright. She graduated from Moorhead High School in 1970. She received her Bachelors of Education Degree and Masters of Computer Science Degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead. It was there in a music class where she met her future husband, Wayne. They were married in 1975 and were blessed with two children, Travis and Stephanie.
Nancy worked as an IT Specialist and Teacher at North Dakota State University in Fargo for over 30 years. She later received a Masters in Education from NDSU. She was well-loved by her colleagues for her empathy and her kindness. Nancy thoroughly enjoyed gardening, spending time with family, playing board games, and traveling. She played organ and piano at First United Methodist Church for decades, and was a founding member of Joy For The Journey, a contemporary worship band at the church.
