SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) – After record warmth Tuesday, we’ll feel a summery night followed by cooler, but still mild midweek. How much cooler do we turn? Find out below…
Stays warm tonight, but what about Wednesday?
We shattered another record high in Syracuse on Election Day when readings topped out in the low 80s! The old record Tuesday was 77 degrees set just two years ago. Was it the warmest Election Day? Find out here.
It’s a summery night with a steady, nice breeze, some clouds late tonight and possibly a shower or two towards sunrise. Lows are only going to drop into the mid-60s for most tonight! Yes, it’s a leave the windows open kind of night!
A little rain & slowly turning cooler
After a summery, breezy and mainly dry Tuesday night with lows in the 60s, the next more significant threat of some showers arrives for Wednesday morning as a cold front moves through.
It won’t be as warm Wednesday, but still some 20 degrees warmer than average for early November with highs in the low 70s!
A few more showers develop late Wednesday night into Thursday morning as a trough slides in from the north with some help off the lake.
We think there’s a chance for breaks of sun to develop Thursday afternoon as drier air starts building in with high pressure from the west. This will be followed by a sunnier and windy Friday.
Highs for the last half of the week are closer to seasonable levels between 55 and 60, but the wind will make feel cooler…
