FOREST CITY — SECU Foundation, a charitable organization funded by the members of State Employees’ Credit Union (SECU), has awarded a $40,000 Mission Development Grant (MDG) to Rutherford Housing Partnership in Forest City, according to a press release from SECU Foundation.
The grant will assist the non-profit with building organizational capacity to help expand its reach and make a greater impact within the community, according to the press release.
The Mission Development Grant program began in 2017 as a capacity building pilot, and since then, has been providing financial assistance for many North Carolina non-profits seeking help to advance their mission of serving others.
