Volunteers gather at Igo Veterans Cemetery to pay tribute to heroes

SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. — Preston Sharp, founder of Flags and Flowers, called on the community to honor veterans by placing flags and flowers at local cemeteries.

On Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., volunteers gathered at the Igo Veterans Cemetery to place American Flags and red carnations on graves in honor of veterans.

Volunteers are also needed the week after, on Wednesday, Nov. 13, to help remove the flags and flowers at the Igo cemetery, starting at 3 p.m. until the task is completed…
