As a newbie to Taylor Swift, I was unsure what to expect when I was assigned to work at the Eras Tour concert.
Being a pop punk girl, I hadn’t kept up with Swift’s newest albums. I sang “Mean” in my middle school choir, but beyond that, I don’t have a deep connection with the music aside from what I learned when musical parodies on YouTube were still a thing. But to my surprise, I had one of the most enjoyable 48 hours of my career.
The streets were flooded with people of all ages and genders dressed to the nines. Bracelet trading was expected of everyone who had them on their wrists, and even the police and firefighters were into the energy of Swift. I had bracelets on to entice people to say hi ( gotta get that content) but little did I know that this exchange of plastic would be so memorable. I traded with Swifties from three to 65 years old, and I probably took home over thirty bracelets…
