Centerville voters approve crucial school levy, averting major cuts

CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WKEF) — The Centerville City School District’s 3.9 mil operating levy was approved by voters which is going to prevent some major cuts within the district.

Dayton 24/7 Now’s Lydia Bice spoke to the head of the teachers association to see how morale was the morning after election day.

“We were at a big crossroads of what Centerville education was going to look like and the community came through in a big way saying yes they do support our kids, they do support our schools, and they do support what’s going on in Centerville,” said Brian Cayot, Centerville Classroom Teachers’ Association…
