SYCAMORE, Ill. (WIFR) – A new sensory room celebrated its grand opening at the Sycamore Community Center, 480 S. Airport Rd.
“It’s a room that is available for people of all ages and all abilities, to come in and relax, utilize all their senses, and find focus, and be able to just have a calming moment when maybe the world outside is not as calm,” said Dawn Sheafer, the Kishwaukee Special Recreation Association (KSRA) executive director.
