The Arkansas Razorbacks started the 2024-25 season off on the right note with a 76-60 win over Lipscomb in Fayetteville. The Razorbacks had a few contributors who played a key role in Wednesday night’s win, but arguably none were bigger than Zvonimir Ivisic aka ‘Big Z.’
Ivisic got the start and logged 21 minutes for the Razorbacks and was brilliant in those minutes, he finished with 12 points (third-most on Arkansas) including 5 of 6 shooting from the field and 1 of 2 from deep. He added three rebounds, three blocks and a steal to his count on the night as well.
The 7-foot-2, 245 Croatian forward played a key role in Arkansas’ scoring run to stave off another Lipscomb comeback attempt midway through the second half. Arkansas’ once 15-point lead had been cut to just four points and the Hogs were in need of a basket to stop the bleeding…
