From writing about openings and closings of Florida’s businesses for some time, I have noticed that articles about manufacturing plant closures and openings in Florida generate interest. Some Floridians see manufacturing jobs as an indication of the health of the state’s economy. Florida has had a mixed bag with manufacturing this year. I’ve written about events such as Aura Aero Inc. creating 1,000 Florida jobs and the Florida manufacturing company that built Aviara Boats shutting down. And now, another Florida manufacturing plant is shutting down. And it could take jobs with it.…
